Where to Buy Blank Bible Memory Cards

You can purchase blank Bible verse memory cards, and vinyl pouches to keep your memory cards in:

Bible Verse Memory Cards ...

Oh yes, you will want to write down your Bible memory verses onto cards. I like to use the small cards, just big enough to write one or two verses, in small print. You can also get vinyl pouches to put the cards into.

These small cards are handy to carry around, not as bulky as 3x5 cards. I write Bible verses on 3x5 cards, in larger print, then go over with different colored felt markers, and then place around our home.

How to Memorize Scriptures ...

Step #1 -- How to memorize scriptures -- Divide the Bible verse into parts, like this -- Take this scripture, for example:

John 14:6 (King James Version)

“Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.”

Step #2 -- First part: “Jesus saith unto him” -- repeat this however many times you need to (for me, sometimes I have to repeat parts of scriptures many, many, many times!)

Step #3 -- Second part: “I am the way” -- Repeat xtimes, then back up and say the 1st part several times, then say the 2nd part several times, then say 1st and 2nd part together several times.

Step #4 -- 3rd part: “the truth, and the life” -- repeat xtimes, then say 1st part, 2nd part, and 3rd part. If necessary, repeat each part separately, then together, until you can say all these 3 parts correctly.

Step #5 -- 4th part: “No man cometh unto the Father, but by me” -- Repeat as many times as necessary, then repeat 1st part, 2nd part, 3rd part, until you have those parts memorized. Then say all four parts together. If still having problems, go through the process all over again.

Step #6 -- It will get a little easier than at first. You will get this Bible verse (and more!) memorized, if you break the verse(s) into parts, and memorize each part separately, then add the parts, until you have the verse(s) memorized.

I memorized 283 Bible verses when I was a new Christian, and all in the King James Version! I can’t quote all of those scriptures exactly, but those scriptures are still in my heart ....

And I can find most of those scriptures when they come to mind easily, which helps when studying the Bible, listening to teachers, or sharing my faith ....

Sharing the Word of God ....

Deuteronomy chapter six tells us that we are to take the Word of God very seriously, sharing with others all day, keeping in mind the Word of God all day long, and even posting the Word of God in our house!

6And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart:

7And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up.

8And thou shalt bind them for a sign upon thine hand, and they shall be as frontlets between thine eyes.

9And thou shalt write them upon the posts of thy house, and on thy gates.

Love for the Word of God ...

What ever happened to the pure love for the Word of God ... ???

Psalm 119:105, "Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path."

We don't need to be seeking after angels, feathers, gold dust, laughing craze, or other manifestations ....

Dig into the Word of God .... dig deep, and His Word will satisfy your soul ...

Importance of the Word of God

The Word of God (the Bible, also referred to as the scriptures) seems to have taken a back seat in many churches, and the lives of many people who call themselves Christians.

Just how important is the Word of God ....

Psalm 119:9, "Wherewithal shall a young man cleanse his way? by taking heed thereto according to thy word."

There is a strong movement of people claiming that they have something "new," that you must have! There is talk of all kinds of strange manifestations -- portals, angels, gold dust, feathers, shaking, babbling, dancing in a trance-like state, laughing uncontrollably, making all kinds of strange sounds, twirling around, (false)prophecies and more ....

People, you don't need all of that stuff, which is not from the Lord God Almighty! You need the Word of God to be clean. You need to take heed according to the Word of God, not these false ministers, who are leading people astray, and leading many away from the Word of God ...
